Protecting our oldest trees
The City recently completed works on new 'root bridges' in Stirling Gardens to protect our heritage-listed trees.
The new bridges will help preserve the trees large root systems which were starting to push through the pathways. These trees are amongst the oldest European-planted trees in the City.
